When I started with my home lab, it was for a mix of mirroring what I was working with in the corporate world and some home services.

I'm now retired and enjoy it as a home lab that has evolved beyond what I expected.

For my network infrastructure I decided to go with Unifi. I know many think it's over-rated, but I like the simplicity of it and it's easy to manage. I've also incorporated their Protect setup utilizing many cameras to keep an eye on things around the house.

It's been a long journey. I've been working with computers for 40+ years.

It's a fun home lab learning experience.
